The Saracen's Dagger

England, 1215. As rebellion stirs and King John’s tyranny pushes the land toward civil war, the Axholme estates of Lord William de Mowbray sit at a bloody crossroads between the armies of opposing powerful barons. 

Amid this turmoil, the theft of a legendary treasure known as The Saracen’s Dagger is at the heart of a treacherous plot instigated by the King’s emissary.

When treachery quickly turns to murder, two noblewomen lie dead, and suspicion falls on Hal Crowder, a wildfowler who lives a solitary existence in the fens. 

As powerful armies gather to decide the fate of the throne, two men from the opposite end of the social scale are drawn together to hunt down the killer before he can strike again.
